Absolutely! Anyone 16 years old and older who wants to fish on our charter will need a valid fishing license. Given Lake Texoma's unique location, straddling both Texas and Oklahoma, navigating licensing requirements can get a bit tricky. To keep things simple and ensure you're fully covered, regardless of where our fishing adventure takes us on the lake, we recommend obtaining a Lake Texoma Fishing License.

Why a Lake Texoma License? Priced at just $12.00, it's the most straightforward and cost-effective option. This license grants you the freedom to fish anywhere on Lake Texoma without worrying about state boundaries—which can be a real challenge to determine once you're out on the water.

Where Can I Get My License? You can easily purchase a Lake Texoma license from either the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation or any Texas Parks and Wildlife Department outlet, including most Walmart stores. It's valid until December 31st of the year it's purchased, offering plenty of time for fishing fun.

A Quick Tip: Even if you hold a lifetime fishing license for Texas or Oklahoma, we advise getting the Lake Texoma license for hassle-free fishing across the entire lake.

Your charter includes all necessary fishing gear—reels, bait, and life jackets. Plus, we take care of cleaning and bagging your catch for easy take-home.

Please bring your fishing license, a cooler for your lunch, drinks, and snacks. The same cooler can be used for your catch. Depending on the season, consider a jacket for cool mornings, rain gear for wet weather, and sun protection (sunblock, sunglasses, and a hat) for sunny days.

Safety first: we do not fish during lightning storms or high winds. We continue with our trips in cold, rain, snow, or heat. Dress accordingly to stay comfortable.

To reschedule, give us a heads-up at least 14 days before your trip. Rescheduled trips are subject to availability on weekdays or weekend afternoons. Deposits become non-refundable if you cancel or reschedule within 14 days of your trip.
