At Reel Easy, our Lake Texoma guiding fishing service rates are worth every penny. But, just seeing a price doesn’t really explain everything you get for your money. That is why we decided to break down exactly what you are purchasing when you choose to hire Reel Easy to take you out on Lake Texoma and help you find the striper bass you’re looking for.
WHAT’S INCLUDED
The first and most important part of the total package is the experience of your guide, Troy Harris. Aside from being a licensed striper guide, Troy’s 20 plus years of experience are truly priceless. But, you get so much more than that.
Your Reel Easy outing payment covers the cost of our top-of-line 34-foot custom fishing boat full of all the modern fishing technology you could ever want. You also don’t need to worry about what polls, reels, baits, or tackle to bring as Troy handles all of that for you.
Besides experience and equipment, your payment covers professional cleaning and bagging of your entire catch. That means you get to do all the fun stuff and leave the messy parts up to your guide.
Lastly, your package includes heaps of fun and comradery. At Reel Easy, you’re not a customer, you’re family.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
To get the most out of your charter, you will need to do a little preparation.
First and foremost, you need to have a fishing license. The easiest way to make sure you are legal is to get a Lake Texoma fishing license. The lake is actually within the boundaries of two states, TX and OK, so having only one state’s license isn’t always enough. The $12 Lake Texoma fishing license will cover you no matter where on the lake our journey takes us.
Additionally, while we handle all of the fishing equipment, we don’t prepare your meals. You will want to pack a lunch, snacks, and some drinks. It’s recommended to carry them in ice chests or coolers. Those same chests can then be used to take home your day’s catch, which we clean and bag.
You will want to make sure you have weather appropriate clothing. As with any lake, the weather on Lake Texoma can change rapidly, so having a jacket and some light rain gear is highly recommended. You’ll also want to carry sunglasses and sunblock, especially during the warm months.
